Gia Seo
I am a Korean-American, New York City-based Creative Director who has spent the last eight years building purpose-driven brand campaigns from the ground up. As an entrepreneur who successfully ran my own studio for close to a decade, my work spans photo, film, and recently experiential direction. My trajectory is uniquely anchored by a diverse ecosystem of roles across the industry—having worked intimately as a luxury buyer, wardrobe stylist, and producer.
This multi-dimensional background gives me a rare, 360 literacy of a project's entire lifecycle. I deeply understand consumer behavior and retail intent from my days in buying, precise visual identity from styling, and the logistics and budgets of producing. Leading initiatives with this kind of all-encompassing lens allows me to eliminate communication gaps between departments and build creative strategies that are both beautiful and highly effective.
My work stands apart from single-lane creative direction because it is intentionally driven by subcultures and an uncompromising perspective in telling those stories. Having grown up navigating a multitude of different cultural landscapes, I treat perspective as a superpower. I lead a vibrant network of over 50+ specialized creatives in different markets ensuring that the rooms I build always reflect and honor the cultures and communities we are centering. I not only wear many hats but use them to redefine what a creative director can be.
I look forward to working with you.
